I suppose there was the belated release of Mass Effect 2 back in January.
It's not just RPGs though - I've already bought Killzone 3 and LittleBigPlanet 2 for my PS3 this year (and Dead Space 2 + Extraction) and can happily enjoy playing those for a bit longer. Not to mention last year's stuff.
I think there's a lot to be said for the tendency for big name multi-platform releases to drop quite dramatically in price after a few weeks on release. Unless it's a must-have title, it
